Complete Abscence of the Sacrum with Multiple Spina Bifida

Abstract
Agenesis of the terminal segments of the spinal colum has been reported as a relatively infrequent occurence. The etiology of the congentital abscence of sacrum¢¥is not precisely determined yet.
The cases fo be presented are examples of congenital abscence of the coccyga and certain associated neurological sequelae as well as other skeletal anomalies.
The spina bifida was found to involve Barely whole vertebrae from cervical spine through thoracic to the lumbar spine in either case. Such a wide spread multiple spina bifida seemed to be very rare as an associated anomaly in the review of the literature.
Bilateral clubfoot was corrected by tripple arthrodesis in one case.
